the ARTIST

Deaf  |  Budding Art Therapist  |  Explorer

Hey there! I'm Kali Doubledee. I graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts Studio at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York in 2017. I got an opportunity to experiment with various art mediums, colors, and ideas there. Most of my works have qualities of illustration and expressive arts.

I am currently enrolled in the Masters in Art Therapy program at Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon, where I learn therapeutic approaches using arts and counseling skills, as well as ecopsychology. I'm pursuing the dream of working as a Deaf art therapist who incorporates art and nature in therapy work as a means to guide clients to discover their strengths and new life story.
