As someone who grew up using sign language daily, I was visually absorbed by the fluidity of motions. This fascination has led me to explore gestures on a two-dimensional picture plane, using expressive brushwork and mark making to both reference and transcend physical motion. I wish to communicate through expressive brushworks and harmony of colors as a whole new language.
